Positive diverse representation is important. Period.
The ABC Library consists of ~1,000 positive diverse representation books, primarily focused on highlighting BIPOC (Black, indigenous, and people of color) stories. We are continuously adding to our curation and celebrating different books, authors, and illustrators.
How it works:
Step 1
Visit the ABC Library on our website. Open access to all to use as a resource - browse through!
Step 2
Find books for your classroom from our searchable database or our pre-curated lists.
Step 3
Fill out an order form. (Note: due to high demand, we anticipate a waitlist for our initial launch)
Step 4
Receive your books in the mail and enjoy positive diverse representation books in your classrooms!

We add to the ABC Library on a regular basis. If we don’t have a book that you would like to see included, please let us know! Send your suggestions to contact@antiracismbooksforchildren.com.
We are committed to continue learning and to always strive to do better. We are not perfect, nor do we claim that the ABC Library is perfect. We launched this project as a channel to donate books to budget-constrained classrooms through an efficient database, but we have NOT read through every book. If you find a book that is problematic or if you see an issue with our categorization or description that needs to be corrected, please email contact@antiracismbooksforchildren.com. We try our best to be knowledgeable and empathetic, and we hold ourselves accountable to addressing and fixing any issues.
