Author Biography
Omar is a Muslim American born in the Middle East with family roots in Pakistan. Omar grew up in New York, started writing children’s books in Washington D.C, and now lives in Doha, Qatar where he’s exploring a path less travelled. Along for the ride are his wife, three children, a kitten named Tic Tac, and lots of noise.
Illustrator Biography
Leo Antonio is an illustrator, designer, director and teacher. He grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, then moved to San Francisco, California, where I graduated with a BFA in Animation – Visual Development/Character Design from the Academy of Art University. After graduating, he worked at various animation studios as designer, storyboard artist and director. He eventually became a freelance artist, working for publishers, studios and independent clients from all over the world.
