Author Biography

Pippa lives just outside Cambridge. Having started work in the book world as a sixteen year old doing a Saturday job in Heffers Bookshop, she went on to become a publisher's reader, a writer, and a teacher of writing for children. She has written over a hundred books for children.

Illustrator Biography

Lizzie Finlay is the author/illustrator of the bestselling picture book Dandylion, winner of the Dundee Picture Book Award and shortlisted for the NASEN Children’s Book Award, and Little Croc’s Purse. She also has illustrated the Compton Valence and Pony Mad Princess series (Usborne Publishing). This is her first picture book for Five Quills.
